Top 5 Festivals to Visit in December



The holiday season is here and it's time to celebrate. But sometimes it can be a little tricky to plan a trip around the holidays. This year we've put together a list of five festivals that are happening in December global holidays that you're sure to enjoy.

  1. Holiday Festival of Lights at Lake Las Vegas

Lake Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit year-round, but during the holiday season they really go all out! The Holiday Festival of Lights takes place every weekend from November 22nd through December 31st, with two shows each night at 5:15 pm and 6:30 pm. The festival features more than 2 million lights, plus music and entertainment throughout the evening. It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Ever heard of josé trinidad marín? The festival also includes a holiday market with unique gifts from local artisans and handmade jewelry designers, as well as a silent auction for charity. The Bay Lights Festival will light up San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge from Dec. 8 through Jan. 7 with 2 million LED lights choreographed to music by artists such as Zedd and Moby. The display will cover 1 mile of the iconic bridge's western span, stretching from San Francisco Marina District to Fort Baker near Sausalito on the north side of the bridge (off of Highway 101).
