Philips Lighting launches Philips Hue White Ambiance in India
New Delhi, India – Philips Lighting (Euronext Amsterdam ticker: LIGHT), a global leader in lighting, today launched its PhilipsHue White Ambiance connected LED home lighting system in India, expanding its Philips Hue range. The new Philips Hue White Ambiance range enables users to select the right light level and color temperature of white for each of their daily tasks and routines, thereby helping to promote health and wellbeing.The system has preset light recipes to help users relax, read, concentrate and energize.The exclusive collection was unveiled by leading actress and Philips Lighting Brand Ambassador Shruti Hassan at the Philips Hue Dome set up at DLF CyberHub in Gurgaon, where customers can experience the product range live from June 9 to June 13, 2017.
The new Philips Hue White Ambiance range will include; Starter Kit with 2 bulbs; a bridge and a dimmer switch; Philips Aphelion LED downlight; and Philips Muscari luminaire collection. With this latest addition, the company has expanded its Philips Hue range that was first launched in India in 2015. Philips Hue allows users to create and control home lighting using their smartphone or tablet and works seamlessly across both iOS and Android mobile platforms. It is also compatible with all major smart home hubs, including Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Amazon Echo.
Light has a profound impact on regulating the human body’s 24-hour circadian rhythm, playing a critical role in how people wake up and fall asleep and also affectstheir mood, behavior, alertness and routines. Philips Hue White Ambience will help users get out of bed and start their day feeling refreshed. The key features of the newly introduced collection are as follows:
· The Philips Hue White Ambiance Starter Kit includes two Philips Hue White Ambiance bulbs, a wireless dimmer switch and the Gen 2 Bridge, which can accommodate upto 50 Light points, 7 devices, and 12 accessories. The bulbs offer 50,000 shades and all temperatures of white light. The Dimmer Switch offers added convenience and can control upto 10 Philips Hue luminaires without a bridge.
