Xiaomi Redmi Note to hit Indian market in Mid January

According to report in the MakTech blog, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in January 2017. The dates have not yet been announced though a mid-January launch is being speculated. The Redmi Note 4 which was launched in China earlier this year in August.



But unlike the Chinese variant, which was launched with MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 4 will be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC. Xiaomi still cannot sell MediaTek powered smartphones in India, due to a court injunction.

  • PROCESSOR: Snapdragon 625 - 2.0 GHz 64-bit Octa-Core(8A53 x2.0GHz)
  • GRAPHICS: Qualcomm Adreno 506 (VULKAN 1.1 OPEN GL3.2)
  • RAM and ROM: 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM(up tp +256 GB via micro sd slot)
  • CONNECTIVITY: Dual Sim(One Micro can be used for SD cards and one Nano Sim)
  • CAMERA: Samsung 13MP f/2.2 sensor and a 5MP f/2.2 Front Camera
  • BATTERY: 4100mAh (not removable)
  • SOFTWARE: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow(MIUI 8)
