Xiaomi launches Redmi 4, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi 4A smartphones
After months of speculations and rumours, Xiaomi has taken the covers off the Redmi 4, Redmi 4 Prime and Redmi 4A smartphones. All three smartphones have 5-inch displays and run MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but differ from each other in many ways. The Redmi 4 (CNY 699 or roughly Rs. 7,000) has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) screen, 16GB internal storage, microSD card support, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 4100mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A (CNY 499 or approximately Rs. 5,000) has the same screen resolution, storage, RAM, and camera setup, but comes with a smaller 3120mAh battery and 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset. The top model in the new range is the Redmi 4 Prime (CNY 899 or roughly Rs. 9,000), which has full HD (1080x1920 pixel) display, 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage; other features are same as those of Redmi 4.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare released for PCs, PS4, Xbox One
One of India's most popular gaming franchises, Call of Duty has a new entry today. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a sci-fi take on the long-running military shooter series. It's now available for download for Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with support for the PS4 Pro coming later this month. OnePlus 3T launch date, more features leaked
While the rumour mill has so far pegged the unveiling of OnePlus 3T around mid-December, a new report claims that the smartphone will be showcased much earlier. The new report says that we will get a glimpse of the next OnePlus smartphone on November 14. It also says that the device will have a 3300mAh battery (vs. the 3000mAh battery of OnePlus 3) and have a 128GB storage option, alongside the standard 64GB version.
Marvel's Doctor Strange hits theatres
Much to the pleasure of geeks everywhere, the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Doctor Strange - hit theatres today. The movie tells the tale of arrogant surgeon Stephen Strange and his journey to becoming Earth's Sorcerer Supreme after an accident leaves him with irreparable nerve damage. This is the 14th movie in the Marvel superhero franchise and the first to explore the mystic realm on the big screen.
Meizu Pro 6s with iPhone's 3D Touch-like display launched
Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has showcased the Pro 6s smartphone with 3D Press display (similar to the 3D Touch screen on iPhone 6s and above), 3,060mAh battery, and 12-megapixel camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 4-axis optical image stabilization, and laser-assistance, phase-detection autofocus. The smartphone has been priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 26,700) and will be launched in China soon.
Huawei Mate 9 specification
Huawei Mate 9 comes with a 5.90-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.



The Huawei Mate 9 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Mate 9 packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Huawei Mate 9 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 156.90 x 78.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.00 grams.
WhatsApp testing new ‘Status’ tab
WhatsApp is currently testing new interface with ‘Status’ updates tab to the interface after adding a ‘Camera’ tab to the interface along with Video Calling. ‘Status’ updates is not a new addition to WhatsApp and has long existed with the launch of WhatsApp in 2009. But this new addition will introduce sharing images with your contacts for a limited period, just like ‘Stories’ in Instagram and ‘Snaps’ in Snapchat.
