10 Movie Robots That we all Loved

1. R2-D2, Star Wars (1977)
R2-D2 is everything you want in a robot. He’s got charisma, he’s resourceful, he’s cute, funny, brave and insanely adaptable. The design is unforgettable and he’s absolutely indispensable in a pinch. Pretty much, he’s the best movie robot ever.

2. T-800, The Terminator (1984)
He’s good, he’s bad, he’s a protector, he’s a martyr, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic turn as the the unstoppable robot is simply unforgettable.

3. Robocop, RoboCop (1987)

Alex Murphy may be more human than robot, but it’s his robot side that makes him so special, memorable and just plain kick ass. Super cool design, special guns of all time and anyone who can beat the ED-209 is good.

4. Wall-E, Wall-E (2008)
Few robots have ever had the personality or lovability of this Pixar creation. He’s heroic and vulnerable. A dedicated worker and true romantic. Wall-E is just plain awesome.

5. C-3P0, Star Wars (1977)
This rank is probably a little surprising. He is the nervous, bumbling protocol droid. He’s got a heart of gold, and a body to go along with it. He just doesn’t take as much action as some of his robotic counterparts.

6. Optimus Prime, Transformers (2007)

I do love the animated Optimus Prime but Michael Bay’s live action version wins out here. He’s an unfathomable feat of design that’s both gorgeous and somehow realistic. The character itself is great too, a born leader with incredible gravitas and  to watch Optimus Prime in GBU Audi was more then amazing.

7. Atom, Real Steel (2011)
The sparring robot turned champion is the heart and soul of this fun, underrated mix of sci-fi and sports. He’s got personality, a great story and can really take a punch.

8. Chappie, Chappie (2015)

Yes Neill Blomkamp’s latest creation is new. And no, the movie isn’t that good. But Chappie is unlike any robot you’ve ever seen, wrapping innocence and strength into one very interesting and fun package.

9. Vision, Avengers: Age of ultron (2015)
In the alternative timeline in the 2013 "Age of Ultron" storyline in which Ultron has conquered the Earth, Vision serves as Ultron's emissary and barters with Luke Cage to turn over She-Hulk in exchange for Cage's freedom.

10. Chitti, Enthiran/Robot (2010)
Hi, I'm Chitti the Robot. Speed 1 terahertz, memory 1 zigabyte.
The most expensive movie's robot made in India till date has broken all box office records. Features of robot are amazing of all.
