Panasonic India CEO wins ‘Electronics Man of the Year’ Award
New Delhi, September 18, 2017: Mr Manish Sharma, President and CEO Panasonic India and South Asia today was unanimously chosen by the jury of ELCINA (Electronic Industries Association of India) and EFY (Electronics for you) as the ‘Electronics Man of the Year’ 2017. He has been given this award for his outstanding contribution to promote investment and indigenization in the ESDM industry.

Manish Sharma veteran in the consumer electronics and appliances industry having more than 22 years of experience. In 2016, he became the first Indian and the youngest ever to be chosen as an Executive officer for the Panasonic Corporation.
His strategic outlook has helped the brand transform from a consumer-electronics focus company to a diversified technology solutions brand in India. He has been instrumental in leading the company’s multi-channel branding strategy to create a stronger youth connect and has forged strategic partnerships that have enabled Panasonic capture a greater market share and credibility.
