OnePlus 3 : Leaks Suggest to have Snapdragon 820 and 16 MP Rear Camera

OnePlus 3  : Benchmark confirms  that device is loaded with Snapdragon 820 and 8MP+16MP camera

The OnePlus 3 has been leaked in all its glory, courtesy benchmark website Antutu giving us a closer
look at its hardware, for the first time. The OnePlus 3 - with model number A3000 - will come with Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 820 processor, which given the history of OnePlus flagship phones, isn't all that surprising. To recall, the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 came with Snapdragon 801 and 810, both high-end CPUs for the time.

Moving on, the OnePlus 3 is said to have 4 gigs of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory. It might be possible that this is the base variant of the said phone, which would mean OnePlus chucking out the 16GB base storage option that it gave along with the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. Further, the phone is seen running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS which is the company's custom skin.

As for other specs, the OnePlus 3 is said to have a fulHD (1920x1080 pixel) display, possibly a 5.5-inch one. It is said to have a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

It was earlier being said that the company will unveil the handset at an event (in China) on April 7. However, it has now come to light that isn't the case. OnePlus is holding an event on April 7 but the event will not see the launch of the OnePlus 3, suggests a new report from Gizmo China .

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 3 at the end of the second quarter, the company had earlier hinted. Company co-founder Carl Pei had earlier also said that the OnePlus 3 will feature a new design , different from its current-generation flagship phones. He had even went and said that the OnePlus 3 design will captivate users just as the company's first phone, the OnePlus One.
