2. Coolpad Note 3 Lite at 6,999

Coolpad Note 3 Lite has percived a great response from consumers in Indian Market. The first flash sale for theCoolpad Note 3 Lite on Amazon India concluded on Thursday with 30,000 units sold in just 21 seconds.

Coolpad sold more than 1,50,000 units of Note 3 online in India. According to Dr. Luo, the company's aim is to produce more than 1 million Coolpad handsets by the end of first half of 2016.

With budget pricing comes budget specifications, but even here, Coolpad has tried to raise the bar. The SoC of choice is a run-of-the-mill quad-core MediaTek MT6735, but the Note 3 Lite is one of the most affordable phones to come with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

You can expand the latter by up to 32GB using a microSD card. There's also Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, FM radio, GPS, and a non-removable 2500mAh battery. The phone has two Micro-SIM slots with 4G support on band 40 through both. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite delivers a very good package on paper for its asking price of Rs. 6,999.

3. Moto G 3rd Gen at 9,999

At ₹ 9,999 for the 16GB, 2GB RAM version we’re looking at, the Moto G is more a good deal than the ‘pick up your jaw from the floor’ bargain the first-gen model came across as. However, by radically improving the camera and keeping performance tip-top, it’s still better than the affordable options you can get from rivals such as Sony and Samsung.

For all the hardware improvements, the Moto G still comes across as a cheaper phone, not a super high-end one. The back is plastic, with a ridged embossed finish that doesn’t seem remotely flash. And at 11.6mm thick it’s pretty chunky. Ergonomic curves mean it still feels good, but is fairly large among 5-inch phones.

One of the real spotlight improvements for 2015 is the Moto G’s waterproofing. Little rubber seals on the battery cover keep water out of the SIM and microSD memory card slots, and the headphone/charge sockets are specially treated so they don’t mind being dunked in water.

4. Meizu M2 at 6,999

At Rs.6,999 the M2 is a budget phone. Obviously, it isn't as well endowed as the MX5 but let's not hold this against it. At its price, the M2 packs in enough power inside to make it a formidable opponent to phones like the Xiaomi Redmi 2, the Yu Yunique and others.

The Meizu M2 bears an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 5C. Just like the iPhone 5C it comes with a plastic shell body (non-removable back cover) with rounded edges, lower cut out speaker vent, circular rear camera module (it is located in the middle though unlike the iPhone where it is on the corner) and a physical home button under the main display. The M2 also comes in a host of peppy colour options.

5.Coolpad Note 3 at 8,999

Coolpad Note 3 is the best performing phone in the sub-10K smartphone segment. You won’t go wrong with this phone when buying a phone under a budget of Rs. 10,000. Featuring an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC and 3GB of RAM inside, the phone is able to outperform every other phone in almost all synthetic benchmarks.

The Meizu M2 Note also uses the same SoC but it slightly better optimised and hence it is placed a step above. However, the Coolpad Note 3 scores points on the superfast fingerprint sensor and an astoundingly good battery which is able to last more than 10 hour on a single charge.
