Le Max and Le 1s Launched in India for Rs 32,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively




Lets welcome leeco Chinese leading multinational corporations LeEco, previously known as LeTv has today launched two smartphones in India - the flagship Le Max and the budget handset Le 1S. The handsets will be available exclusively on Flipkart and the registrations for the smartphones are open. The first flash sale for the Le Max will be held on February 16, and for Le 1S, the first flash sale starts on February 2.

Le Max boasts of a giant 6.33-inch display with virtually no bezels, as the screen goes almost edge to edge with a 2k resolution. The phone packs a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset with a whopping 4GB of the fastest LPDDR4 RAM. In terms of imaging, Le Max packs the new Sony IMX230 superfast focusing image sensor in its 21MP rear camera. The front is provided with a 4MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The handset also has a fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera, besides Wi-Fi Display connectivity. The Le Max packs in a special audio processor for the audiophiles. LeTv has launched the 64GB storage model in Silver and Gold colour variants, priced at Rs. 32,999. The company has also launched a Sapphire colour variant with 128GB storage, which is priced at Rs 69,999.

The company said that Le Max is the terminator of the flagship smartphones and also claimed that even though Le Max has Snapdragon 810 SoC, the engineers have worked hard to make sure that the handset does not heat up even with the most demanding tasks, something we will find out while reviewing the device. Besides, it will be interesting to see how the popular Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will price its next flagship handset Mi 5, which is about to launch in the Indian market.
Coming on to the affordable Le 1S. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display, is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage and comes wirh USB Type C USB port. The smartphone supports dual-SIM connectivity, 4G on both the SIM cards and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery unit. In terms of imaging, the handset sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and integrates phase-detection autofocus. There is a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfies.
The smartphone also supports fast-charging SpeedVolt technology that according to LeEco can offer 3.5 hours of playback on a charge of just 5 minutes. It has been priced at Rs 10,999 for 32GB variant.
The company also gave insights about its rich content, which includes TV series, movies, music and said that it aims to build the similar ecosystem in the Indian market by focusing on Platform, Content, Platform and Applications. The company has also partnered with Eros International and mentioned that Le devices will come with a year's access to Eros's rich library of Indian multimedia content including movies and TV content.
